AGRICULTURAL TUNING

Tractor tuning: more work done, more time back

Proven agricultural calibration for stronger pulling power, potential fuel savings and more productive days in the field.

Power that earns its place in the field

When the season is moving, your machinery needs to keep moving with it. Boostech Bloemfontein offers agricultural tuning focused on the work that matters: pulling the implement, holding a useful working speed and getting the job finished.

From John Deere and New Holland to Case, Massey Ferguson and Valtra, we assess support for the actual engine, ECU and software. Tractors, harvesters and sprayers each have their own demands, and the calibration needs to suit the machine and its workload.

More pulling power, fewer hours on the job

A well-matched Stage 1 calibration can give the engine more usable power and torque under load. In suitable conditions, that can mean carrying the same implement one or two gears higher while maintaining the quality of the work.

Across a large field, a useful increase in work rate adds up. Finishing sooner frees the operator and machine for the next task and helps you make better use of short planting and harvesting windows. Time saved in the field is time you can put back into the operation.

Fuel savings that make sense for farming

Our typical Stage 1 guidance is around 15–25% more power, with potential fuel savings of roughly 5–10%, depending on the model, condition and application. We discuss realistic expectations for your machine before choosing a solution.

The useful comparison is fuel used to complete the same job. Working faster can mean fewer hours to cover the field, even when the hourly consumption changes. Compare similar implements, loads and ground conditions to understand the benefit in your operation.

Tested agricultural solutions

We use tested calibrations developed by agricultural tuning specialists. Their development includes before-and-after PTO dyno measurements on relevant tractor platforms, alongside learning how each platform manages fuelling, boost, torque and sustained load.

That platform knowledge helps establish suitable gains and understand cooling and operating limits. Our own workshop chassis dyno is separate from the PTO testing carried out by those agricultural specialists. The solution supplied for your machine is matched to its ECU and software version.

Bring the machine—or ask about an ECU bench flash

For supported applications, an ECU can be brought in for bench programming using an established, tested solution. This can be practical when moving a tractor to the workshop would interrupt the operation.

Contact us with the machine details before removing or sending an ECU. We can confirm the available method and the information required, including its software identification where available.

Stage 1 and additional software services

Alongside Stage 1 tuning, we offer EGR, DPF and AdBlue/SCR software solutions on supported agricultural applications, subject to the machine and intended use. We explain the scope for your particular platform before proceeding.

Calibration is one part of a complete setup. Existing faults, cooling concerns or problems with fuelling and boost still need attention. A software upgrade should be planned around the actual condition and workload of the machine.

Tell us what you work with

Send Pieter the make, model, year, engine hours and location. Tell us which implement or task is involved and where you would like an improvement. We will confirm support and discuss a package for the way your machinery works.

Boostech Bloemfontein is an independent ECU calibration business and is not an authorised dealer or representative of the machinery manufacturers shown. The photographs below show individual jobs and results; gains vary between machines.
