Our bakkie work gets plenty of attention, but Boostech Bloemfontein also tunes supported passenger cars, hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs. Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen are among the brands customers ask us about. Petrol and diesel applications both form part of the conversation.

What can a tune improve?

Depending on the engine, tuning can improve acceleration, throttle response, mid-range torque and overtaking performance. Some owners want a more responsive daily car; others want a package built around exhaust upgrades or a larger turbo.

We offer Stage 1, Stage 2, eco-focused and custom tuning. Gearbox remapping is available on supported transmissions. Exhaust systems and other software options are confirmed for the exact vehicle rather than assumed from the badge.

The model and ECU matter

A manufacturer name is only the starting point. Two cars that look the same may have different engines, control units or software. ECU access and gearbox support can differ between model years, so the available tuning route must be checked against the actual vehicle.

Turbocharged engines often offer more scope for a noticeable improvement. A naturally aspirated model may have more modest gains, so we explain what makes sense for your engine instead of applying one percentage to every car.

Our Bloemfontein workshop combines dyno development with diagnostics and road testing. The aim is a useful improvement that suits the way you drive, from commuting to towing or a custom build.
