Sport and drive-mode activation

On supported next-generation Ranger 2.0 and 3.0 models, we can enable additional driving modes where the necessary functions are already present in the vehicle’s control systems but not active in its current configuration. Availability depends on the model, fitted hardware and software.

Sport mode can sharpen accelerator response and change the transmission’s shift strategy, holding gears longer and responding more readily when you ask for acceleration. Where supported, separate gearbox calibration can also refine shift timing and transmission pressure control for a firmer, sportier feel. We confirm the available changes for your particular Ranger before activation.
